ABSTRACT = {A new species of Mycetia from the dense tropical forests of Siang Valley of Arunachal Pradesh is described and illustrated. It is allied to Mycetia longifolia (Wall.) Kuntze, in its shrubby habit, small elliptic to oblong stipules, and a tubular corolla of nearly the same length that is villous within, but differs in its caducous stipules, large bracts, congested thyrses, deeply lobed, puberulous and lanceolate calyx lobes and glabrous corolla. The species description is accompanied by photographs, and information is provided on aspects of its distribution, phenology, ecology, and similarity to other species.},
