This genus is supported by morphological and multigene molecular data. At present this novel genus is represented only by two Asian species, Singeroboletus hainanensis comb. nov. (based on Butyriboletus hainanensis) and S. himalayanus sp. nov. Detailed morphology, illustrations, micromorphological drawings and multigene molecular phylogenetic inferences are presented for S. himalayanus. %M doi:10.6165/tai.2025.70.147
