%X Boletoid mushrooms are one of the dominant ectomycorrhizal fungi in temperate to subalpine forests of Indian Himalaya. During our routine macrofungal survey to Himalayan forests of Uttarakhand we came across a number of boletoid mushrooms. The present paper deals with a new bolete species: <i>Gyrodon sharmae</i>. It is presented with detailed macro- and micromorphology coupled with illustrations and ITS-based molecular phylogenetic estimation. Comparison with other allied taxa is also given.
