AB -Six proliferous species of Thraustochytrium are described and illustrated, namely T. proliferum Sparrow, T. motivum Goldstein, T. aureum Goldstein, T. multirudimentale Goldstein, T. kerguelensis Bahnweg and Sparrow and T. rossi Bahnweg and Sparrow. The last three species are described as new records to Taiwan.
