AB -This paper gives an account of five foliicolous fungal taxa collected from Thiruvananthapuram district of Kerala
state. Of these, Irenopsis xeromphidis and Schiffnerula braunii are the new species; Meliola geniculata and Schiffnerula mirabilis
are rare fungi and Meliola pterocarpi found on a hitherto unrecorded endemic host plants.
