The plants are found growing at low altitude. The species is characterized with creeping, simple plants bearing rhizoids arising ventrally all along stem, succubous and dorsally secund leaves, a non-beaked, long exerted, plicate perianth with contracted mouth and a lacking perigynium. The plants of this new locality have been retained under subgenus Luridae (Spruce) Amak. of genus Jungermannia L. DO -10.6165/tai.2016.61.165
