AB -Primulina yandongensis, a new species from the limestone area of southwestern Guangxi, China is described and illustrated. It is similar to P. pungentisepala (W. T. Wang) Mich. Möller & A. Weber in morphology, but it is easily distinguished from the latter by some of the distinct characters in cyme, corolla, filament, staminode and phenology. The detailed information, including morphological descriptions, illustrations and diagnostic comparisons etc. are provided.
