AB - A new species of bark beetle Craniodicticus cinnamomi Lin & Beaver (tribe Carphodicticini Wood, 1971) from Taiwan is described. The species is phloeophagous and harem polygynous, breeding in Cinnamomum insulari-montanum (Lauraceae). A key to the species of Craniodicticus is provided.
