AB -The genus <i>Trichophya</i> Mannerheim, 1830 is a Holarctic genus of rove beetles representing the small subfamily Trichophyinae. We redescribe the previously known Taiwanese species, <i>Trichophya kurosawai</i> Shibata, 2001, based on the type material. In addition, we describe three new species from Taiwan: <i>T. keris</i> sp. nov., <i>T. maui</i> sp. nov., and <i>T. thor</i> sp. nov. A key to all species in Taiwan is provided. The habitus and aedeagus of each Taiwanese species are illustrated. The current systematics of the genus <i>Trichophya</i> is also briefly discussed.
