Abstract

The form and structure of Pleione formosana Hayata are described in detail. Evidences are given to show that Pleione Pricei Rojfe and Pleione formosana Hayata form. nivea Fukuyama should be reduced to synonyms of Pleione formosana Hayata As of date, Pkione formosana Hayata is the only known narive species of Pleione in Taiwan.
