Abstract

In the present communication, a new species of Hebeloma (H. himalayense) and a new record of H. theobrominum are reported here for the first time for Indian mycobiota, belonging to Hebeloma sect. Denudata and Hebeloma sect. Theobromina, respectively. Both taxa are presented with detailed macro-morphological features, microscopic illustrations, Scanning Electron Micrograph (SEM) images of the basidiospores, and phylogenetic analysis.
