Abstract

This is a revision of the genus Thrixspermum (Subtribe Sarcantheae) and in the course of the revision of the Taiwan species, we found there are two species which are clearly outside the range of this genus. In this paper we treat them as a Sarcochilus. There is a new species, Thrixspermum devolium is proposed. Dr. P. Vermeulen has been of much help to us and we are grateful for his assistance.
