Abstract

A taxonomic treatment of the genus Viola L. (Violaceae) in Taiwan is provided in the present study. There are 18 taxa and one doubtful species, including four new combinations. Base on the morphological characteristics, the Viola of Taiwan is divided into eight groups with one to four taxa within each group.
