Abstract

Merremia vitifolia (Burm. f.) Hall. f. (Convolvulaceae) is reported for the first time from southern Taiwan. The species is easily distinguished from other Taiwanese Merremia by the hirsute stem, palmately lobed leaves and fresh yellow corolla. A description and illustration are provided.
