Abstract
The genus Trichophya Mannerheim, 1830 is a Holarctic genus of rove beetles representing the small subfamily Trichophyinae. We redescribe the previously known Taiwanese species, Trichophya kurosawai Shibata, 2001, based on the type material. In addition, we describe three new species from Taiwan: T. keris sp. nov., T. maui sp. nov., and T. thor sp. nov. A key to all species in Taiwan is provided. The habitus and aedeagus of each Taiwanese species are illustrated. The current systematics of the genus Trichophya is also briefly discussed.
